Bajkul United Forum

Being the President of Bajkul United Forum, it is a great pleasure to me to get associated with the socio-cultural and human welfare activities to improve the status of life of the people of the locality. An organization dedicated to the development of the people of Kismat Bajkul (Purba Medinipur, West Bengal), Bajkul United Forum has started its journey from the year 2011.

More than 100 members of this organization are working towards the development of the society by adopting agenda like skill-development of local youth, children and women welfare, and also implementing different schemes like free health check-up, blood donation camp, service to the aged and senior citizens. As its commitment to the society, Bajkul United Forum organizes regular football tournament, cultural programs like drawing, recitation, song, dance and debate competition etc. and also organizes an annual fair called ‘Milan Mela O Padarshani’ and its sequel publication of the magazine ‘Milan Mela’. This organization also supports the local students of schools and colleges by donating books, khatas, stationeries like pens and pencil and other teaching aids and the needy people by offering blankets, sarees and dhutis. This organization readily responds to different problems of local people and stand beside them in needs to maintain a healthy status of human welfare.

Being the President of this organization, I seek active participation of members and local volunteers to come forward and be a part of our various initiatives. Let us work together towards a more sustainable and happy future.
